Window Works is committed to protecting online user privacy. In order to ensure your privacy, information Window Works collects through our web site at www.windowworksus.com (“Site”) is used only in the manner and for the purposes described in this Window Works Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy.”)

User Consent to Privacy Policy

Information Collected from Users

Window Works collects the email address of Users that email a question or comment to Window Works or submit a customer review.
Window Works collects the billing and shipping addresses, including relevant e-mail, phone and credit card numbers and expiration dates of Users who purchase a product from Window Works through the Site. This includes Users who register to become Window Works members or enter any Window Works contests or other promotional features available on the Site.
Through the use of “cookies” (For more information regarding Cookies, see below), Window Works may collect and store anonymous information relating to Users’ browsing patterns, including, for instance, the User’s browser version, site referral information, IP address, operating system, and other technical Site use information.

Cookies

Third Party Social Media Tools

Window Works maintains official pages or accounts on several third-party websites in order to better engage our customers and promote awareness of our activities, events, news and information.

Your activity on these third-party sites is governed by the security and privacy policies of the third-party sites. Users of third-party sites are often sharing information with the general public, user community and/or the third-party operating the third-party site. You should review the privacy policies of third-party sites before using them to ensure that you understand how your information may be used. You should also adjust privacy settings on your account on any third-party site to match your preferences.

• Facebook is a social networking website where users can connect and interact with other people.  Please note that you are subject to Facebook’s privacy policy when visiting our Facebook page. In addition, users may post comments on the Window Works Facebook page.
• Instagram is a free photo and video sharing app available on iPhone and Android. People can upload photos or videos to our service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends. They can also view, comment and like posts shared by their friends on Instagram. Please note that you are subject to Instagram’s privacy policy when visiting our Instagram pages.In addition, users may post comments on the Window Works Instagram page.
• Nextdoor is where you connect to the neighborhoods that matter to you so you can belong. Neighbors around the world turn to Nextdoor daily to receive trusted information, give and get help, get things done, and build real-world connections with those nearby — neighbors, businesses, and public services. Please note that you are subject to Nextdoor’s privacy policy when visiting our Nextdoor page. In addition, users may post comments on the Window Works Facebook page.

Google AnalyticsTM

Window Works uses Google Analytics, a third-party web measurement and customization technology.

Google Analytics places a small file on your computer, commonly called a “cookie,” so that it can recognize your computer if you visit our  website in the future. This cookie does not collect personal identifying information.

Google Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information through its cookie and does not combine, match, or cross-reference with any other information. Please review the Google Analytics privacy policy for additional information.

Users who choose to disable this web measurement tool will still have full access to Window Works. While the details vary from browser to browsers, most modern browsers can be set up to accept, reject or request user intervention when a site asks to set a cookie. Google Analytics uses a cookie that begins with: _utm.

Children

The Window Works Site is not directed towards children under 18 years of age and Window Works does not knowingly collect any information from children under 18 years of age through the Site.

Window Works has security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Information under our control, including credit card information that is submitted to Window Works When Users place orders or access their account information, the Site uses secure server software (SSL), which encrypts all information Users’ input before it is sent to us. Sale or Acquisition

In the event that another company acquires Window Works or all or part of its assets, we reserve the right to include Information among the assets transferred to the acquiring company. 

Applicable Law/International Issues

Information that is submitted to this Site will be collected, processed, stored, disclosed and disposed of in accordance with applicable U.S. law. If you are a non-U.S. User, you acknowledge and agree that we may collect and use your Information, as discussed above, outside your resident jurisdiction. In addition, such Information may be stored on servers located outside your resident jurisdiction.
